Izette Felthun 'Untitled' vessel

Izette Felthun's new ceramic pieces represent a departure from her usual style, evolving from an exploration of different clays and glazes. What began as a trial has transformed into a collection that blends her traditional Raku techniques with a fresh perspective. While her previous works focused on standalone figures that celebrate the beauty of the female form, this new series invites interaction—pieces that are not only admired but also touched and used practically.

Inspired by nature and the dark, flowing colours of a river, these sculptures aim to be both objects of beauty and functionality. 

This handmade vase has an internal glaze and can safely hold water. This piece should be hand washed in warm water.
