The Innate textile collection by Fiona Spence and Wanda Jelmini embrace that paradox, forging a contemporary Australian aesthetic. The inaugural soft furnishings and bath towel collection takes its inspiration from works by celebrated Australian painter Luke Sciberras.

Truly great textiles devote attention to maintaining the numerous ‘running’ threads necessary to create designs like Katherine. This attention to detail created a pattern so appealing on its reverse side that we decided to celebrate both.

Katherine Reverse sits well beside its namesake or as a star turn of its own.

The design has no repeat across its width, so no two cushions are the same as they are cut from the larger and more complex pattern.

Available as 60 x 60 and 40 x 60 cushions with a simple superfine piping to delineate the truly spectacular feat that is its weaving
