Katherine Boland 'Lost City I'

Katherine is a multidisciplinary artist based on the southeast coast of Australia, working across digital media, photography, experimental processes, and non-traditional materials. Her practice explores the interplay of beauty and vulnerability in the natural world, often using burnt timber, fire, digital layering, and photographic fragments that she weaves into imagined, digitally generated landscapes. Rather than documenting the bush, she reimagines it—creating spaces where fragility and resilience coexist—and uses technology as both record and invention.
